CONSTRUCTION
Hull: Steel, scantlings in accordance with RINA requirements, frames at approx. 800mm centres. Deck: Steel, scantlings in accordance with RINA requirements.
Superstructure: Aluminium, scantlings in accordance to RINA requirements.
ACCOMMODATION
Wheelhouse accommodation: Central helm position with marine suspension seating for two crew plus four pilots. Aft down a step on the starboard side is a small settee with locker. To port down a set of steps is a WC, opposite the WC is a door that leads to the lower accommodation. The aft bulkhead door is positioned bias toward starboard.
Lower accommodation: Small pantry with sink, microwave, 100L fridge, 100L freezer, settee & OB lockers.
Aft off the settee there is an electrical space with switchboards and batteries. Fwd of the engine room is the crew accommodation space with four berths, table and lockers.
DECK FITTINGS/EQUIPMENT
Deck fittings/equipment: Aft transom rungs, engine room ventilation boxes, engine removal hatches & 2 life buoys. Deck hatches, handrails, bollards, mast & navigation equipment as indicated in the GA drawing.
FENDERING
Fendering: A foam fendering system is to be fitted around the perimeter of the vessel.
WINDOWS, HATCHES & DOORS
Windows: TSG glass, bonded to the superstructure
Hatches: Deck hatches as indicated in the GA drawing
Doors: Watertight doors in WT bulkheads, spraytight door in aft superstructure bulkhead
MACHINERY & PROPULSION
Main Engines: 2 x 550Hp / 408 kW Diesel Engines
Gearboxes: 2x Suitable reverse reduction gearboxes
Propulsion: 2x Fixed pitched propellers
Auxiliary: 1 x Genset, suitable for boat load
Exhaust: Wet exhaust system installed with suitable silencers
Cooling: Machinery heat exchanger cooled with seawater piped from hull fittings & strainers Ventilation: Engine room ventilation promoted with suitably sized forced intake & extract fans.
Air-Con: Suitable air-con units fitted to cool wheelhouse & lower accommodation spaces.
