Pilot boats are well proven in service and offer specific features unique to those required by this type of craft and pilot boarding operations.

Our  pilot boats design  have been developed exclusively by Camarc Ltd., to address the challenges of modern pilot launch vessels. Camarc Design is based in the UK and is one of Europe’s leading small craft design firms specialising in the design of seaworthy high speed working craft.

Camarc design boats in Aluminum, Steel and Composite material with both propeller and waterjet options.

Our pilot boat designs are  high performance, diesel-powered twin screw propellers , well insulated, designed for pilot launching operations. Each vessel is equipped with all-round fendering for safe manouvering  and all  accomodation has seperate air-conditioning system for cooling and heating.  Hull form has been carefully developed, based on a wide array of previous successful pilot boat designs, to ensure good sea-keeping, high speed operation, manoeuvrability, and stability in all modes of operation.

The hull is all-welded steel or all-welded aluminium construction and also, wheelhouse and mast are of all-welded steel or all-welded aluminium construction with scantlings in excess of the minimums of any Classification Society. Wheelhouse construction and outfitting  has been designed to achieve maximum visibility and operability.

Sanmar can offer  2 different types of designs with variable engine powers according to operational requirements.
